Welcome Every Child

Welcome Every Child was first introduced to the community of Venango County in 1996. The Welcome Every Child program serves expectant women and families with newborns in Venango County. The program helps provide families with the opportunity to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Trained community volunteers deliver the “welcome baskets.” Each basket contains information regarding health and wellness, a baby blanket, newborn baby supplies and an education packet that describes various community and support services that the family can access if needed.

Who is eligible?

Pregnant women and families with newborns that reside in Venango county; regardless of race, education or socioeconomic status.

If you would like to support the Welcome Every Child program, our needs include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Donation of new baby items
• Monetary donations
• Volunteers to help deliver gift baskets
